Things have been mighty quiet on the blog, but the opposite couldn't be more true about my life. I'm in [another] play that opens next weekend and I went on a backpacking trip and hikes and--
I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll save that for another post.
It's almost Easter and spring is definitely in the air. I'm home from college for Easter break and have loved spending time with my family (and pets). I also had the chance to explore my mom's freshly organized costume closet and found a couple items that I might have adopted for myself.
The glasses were mom's safety glasses from the 70s (which means no prescription!) and the felt fedora looks exactly like one I almost picked up at Target. The best part is that they were totally free. Thanks, mom.
The dress is Forever 21 and the purse is Faded Glory, both from Goodwill. The denim vest was thrifted for $2. The shoes are Italian leather that my mom bought 20 years ago.
Now there's just one question: what should I wear for Easter Sunday??
